Start With a Private Movement and Strength Assessment

Assessment
What happens next?
At the end of the session, your trainer will explain the findings, answer your questions and recommend the most suitable next steps. These insights will be used to create a safe, realistic and personalised training plan built around your needs.
Assessment into action
Once the assessment is complete, your trainer will guide you through
a selection of exercises suited to your current ability. This gives you a
feel for the training experience while allowing your trainer to observe
your technique, offer guidance and introduce the foundations of safe,
effective strength training.
What to expect
We’ll start with a conversation about your:
-
Health and exercise history
-
Current activity level
-
Training goals and priorities
-
Previous injuries, pain or movement concerns
-
Lifestyle and any challenges affecting your progress
Your trainer will then guide you through a series of simple movement and strength checks. These help us understand your mobility, stability, coordination, technique and current capabilities. Everything will be adapted to your experience and comfort level. You absolutely do not need to be fit or experienced to begin.
We’ll also take body-composition measurements to establish a useful baseline, including:
-
Body mass index (BMI)
-
Body-fat percentage
-
Visceral fat
-
Skeletal muscle mass
-
Bone mass
-
Body-water percentage
-
Protein level
-
Basal metabolic rate (BMR)
